Hofrestaurant Zum Schlangenkoenig in Burg (Spreewald)

Super tasty food in a great restaurant. We hadn't made a reservation and were still given a very nice welcome. And our dog Max was also welcome.

The pictures and the reviews promise positive things and have increased the anticipation of the visit to the restaurant. The dining room in the winter garden is stylishly furnished, the chairs are very comfortable and therefore intended for longer stays. The menu is clear and well sorted, the price range matches the ambience and is very promising. Unfortunately, this is abruptly reduced by the service staff. Unfriendly, neglected and unfortunately completely unsuitable for the rest of the atmosphere. The dishes on the menu looked promising, but unfortunately they didn't meet our taste.

Were there for the "All you can eat" barbecue. Everything was very tasty and plentiful. Price / performance okay.

Very nice terrace right on the water. Although we only wanted to order drinks during lunchtime, we were assigned a seat and all the parasols were still open. Thanks again!

We celebrated a birthday there, it was a nice day there. Incl. a great boat trip and later dinner. Service and drinks were all great Cake with coffee was not great, a little little and looked like counted. Dinner was buffet for everyone in the restaurant, everything was great there.

Not just a great hotel. The restaurant offers a good selection at reasonable prices. The quality is good and the staff make an effort.

Good, delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere by the water. Recommended especially when the weather is nice. We would go back.

The restaurant is rustically furnished. The guest room is very small. When we were there it was not a problem but if it is full you can step on your feet. The food was simple, pasta with salmon and risotto with mushrooms, the prices are already very high. The landlord was quick with drinks and food and also very accommodating.
